I finally decided on a digital camcorder. Now all I need is to come up with a few good movies.

I also decided that I would need some sort of picture capturing apparatus so that I can remember this occasion. The apparatus I decided on is the Canon ZR-70MC digital camcorder. Even though I heard that it doesn’t work so well under low-light conditions and the motor noise is loud and annoying. I went to Best Buy, so I can physically see and touch the camera and possibly purchase the camera if it was on sale. Then I realized that I was going to the Electronics capital of the world. I can probably get a better, more advanced camera for half the price. So I decided to hold off on purchasing the camera till I get to Hong Kong. I just hope I don’t get disappointed.

To catch a monkey, drill a hole inside a square box. The hole can’t be too big, just big enough for a monkey to get it’s hand through. Then place a banana inside the box. The monkey will attempt to grab the banana and not let go, which will trap the monkey to the box.
Sometimes you just have to let go of the banana.
I was pressured into putting this journal entry in. Don’t blame me if its boring.
Today I was told that I was a “back-end kinda guy”. Not exactly sure how I should take this comment.
People who talk in third person just freak me out. Henry just doesn’t like that.
So I’m finally back from vacation. I dreaded the day I had to come back and work on monday. I guess I had to eventually. Well after catching up on the massive emails and studying for my EE/COE 1185 exam on wednesday, I had time to upload the pictures to my server. Check them out, http://www.humansky.com/photos. Just click on the Hilton Head link. Well I guess I have to go back to the trenches and stick my nose to the grindstone, or something like that. I still have enough vacation days for another week of vacation, I want to go back.
Vacation so close, I can smell the sun and salt water. I’m so excited. I’ve never been to South Carolina for an extended period of time. My last brief but memorial stay at South Carolina occurred in the summer of ‘96. My father just bought a condo in Florida, so we decided to take one of those character-building father/son road trip. Ha, I ended up driving the whole way and my father was asleep for most of the trip. I still enjoyed the roadtrip through Americana. “They” sure live differently south of the Mason-Dixon line, IMHO.
They were alone in the house. It was a cold, dark, stormy night. The storm
had come up quickly and each time the thunder boomed, he watched her jump.
She looked across the room and admired his strong appearance. She wished
that he would take her in his arm, comfort her, protect her from the storm.
She wanted that…
Then the power went out.
She screamed.
He raced to the sofa where she was cowering. He did not hesitate to pull her
into his arms. He knew this was a forbidden union and expected her to pull
back. He was surprised when she didn’t resist, but instead clung to him.
The storm raged on, as did their growing passion, and there came a moment
when each knew that they had to be together. They knew it was wrong. Their
families would not understand.
But they were so consumed in their passion they didn’t hear the door or the
click of the light switch.
The power was back on…
